I’ve been busy with the new HMG website amongst other things but I’ve finally managed to move the colourbase.com website from the backup server to the primary server… it therefore now shares the account database with the new HMG website

Login system

I’m in the process of creating the login system.

Unfortunately, the first few people who signed up didn’t have the completed version of the registration script and therefore were never sent a password! The login page will have a “Lost Password” button to retrieve it.

Hopefully the login system will be completed this week and integrated into ColourBase Live Formulations

Adopted WordPress as publishing engine

I decided to try to integrate WordPress into this website as a means for publishing new news items and RSS feeds etc, rather than spending ages writing one from scratch…

There are a few minor issues but they will be resolved before the week is out.. other than that, the intergration seems to have gone quite well!

I have implemented the registration facility. It’s a two step process:

Complete the registration form
Visit URL sent to you via email to activate

Registrations over a week old without activation will be purged from the system automatically

Started creating a website
